    Mike “Howie” Howenstine was the first person hired by Tim Clepper & Matt Kaulig in starting Kaulig Media in December of 2017. He is the Vice President leading the Print, Promotions and Experiential Marketing divisions for Kaulig Media.

    In his Sales and Marketing career, Mike has worked for only two other organizations prior to joining Kaulig Media, you could say loyalty is in his DNA. He has been able to take his 30+ years of industry experience to lead the growth and expansion at Kaulig Media.

    Mike is an expert in total project management. Client partners today are wearing many hats and they need their projects completed with one specialist who handles the project over its entire lifecycle; design, source, print, and distribution, That specialization has been the key point of emphasis and success in his career. While the printing and marketing industry and its manufacturing technologies have changed, he has not been afraid to embrace those changes and source new opportunities to ensure the best branding outcome for his clients and business partners.

    Mike has lived in Ohio his whole life and currently resides in Independence Ohio with his wife of 27 years, Theresa and their rescue dog Riley. His oldest son Matthew is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame and he resides in downtown Cleveland and his youngest son Garrett is a Junior at The Ohio State University. Mike is a diehard Cleveland sports fan and enjoys golfing, fishing, supporting local arts and breweries, and any outdoor activity including vacationing at national park systems. Mike is a proud 1987 graduate from Miami of Ohio with a BS in Marketing.
