Chris Camozzi, an American professional Glory kickboxer and former mixed martial artist of the UFC, needed a change. Camozzi has been out of the ring for some time and had suffered some difficult defeats in his last few fights. He needed a comeback story for an upcoming Glory Kickboxing Pay Per View.
After consulting with Chris at Kaulig Media, we did a deep-dive interview and discovery session to honor his story and perspective. Then, we concepted a content and social strategy in an effort to grow existing audience and capture the attention of the national media for additional branding exposure.
Camozzi’s comeback story focused less about the upcoming fight and more on the inner emotional life inside of Chris the competitor. The campaign was brooding, intimate, tasteful and derived solely from Chris’s inner monologue.
As a result of our campaign, Chris’s fight-week social stats increased 45% and Camozzi landed several national interviews.
